Recipe of the season - Winter 2012/13

Try this delicious brownie with marshmallows from LACTOSAN-SANOVO Ingredients Group

(Serves 12)

The dough

200g               unsweetened chocolate

150g               butter

150g               sugar

100g               walnuts

75gr               all-purpose flour

3                    eggs

2tsp               cinnamon, ground

The frosting

250g              cream cheese

75g                icing sugar

2tsp               lemon zest

1tbsp             lemon juice


100g               small marshmallows

Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan, set aside.

Chop the walnuts.

Whip sugar and eggs in a bowl.

In another bowl, mix flour, walnuts, and cinnamon; add it to the egg mixture.

Add the chocolate mixture too.

Line a  20x30cm baking form with parchmentpaper.

Evenly pour the mixture into the form.

Bake the Brownies for approx. 25min, at 175 degrees C. and let it cool.


Mix the cream cheese, icing sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice together until it is creamy.

Frost the brownies and top them with the marshmallows.

Cut the cake into 12 pieces.
