Ceasar Salad

Summer 2013 - Ceasar salad with cheese and egg dressing

(Serves 2 or 4)


300 g Romaine lettuce (1 head)

4 slices bread

2 tbsp olive oil

1 clove garlic

Ingredients - dressing

2 egg yolks  

2 tbsp shredded parmesan 

1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce  

1 clove garlic

1/4 tsp. of salt

approx. 3/4 dl olive oil


1. Blend the egg yolk, parmesan cheese, salt, Worcestershire Sauce and squeezed garlic.

2. Add the oil little by little so the mass does not separate 

3. Heat the oil on a pan and cut thin slices of the garlic. Fry the garlic real short.

4. Break mouth pieces of bread and fry them on the pan in oil and add salt.

5. Rinse the salad and break it into small pieces.

6. Place the salad in a bowl and top with the cooled off croutons,  the dressing and top with fresh shredded parmesan.


The recipe is just as delicious made with LACTOSAN Cheese Powder and SANOVO Egg Powder
